Amen to that! I am so sorry that you happened to choose that rotten apple, silenthill. This sounds like the beginning to the resolution to all of this for you. I understand how knowing she took advantage of others could make you feel better--it was not something about you that made her do this. It was just plain and simple, her rottenness--she did it to others as well. The fact that others were her victims also makes it easier to "convince" the authorities that this happened, because it is not an isolated incident or her word against yours. You did not deserve this and did nothing to ask for it. Good for you! So glad you turned her in.
