I think that is speaking from a position of considerable maturity and self-knowledge. If you are not in that position, you will not see it. I should know. I don't think a therapist should act assuming a client is in that position of health. Many, I think, simply do not comprehend how disturbed a person's life can be. Those will not be able to help people with a large amount of disturbance.
