Sadly, dear, I know all too well where you're coming from. My mom has always been exactly the same way. she never listened, or aknowledged that she even heard... years went by and she never cared.

I moved out last summer when I turned 18. It was rough for a while, and it still is sometimes, but I made it. Advice from the other side is to always keep your chin up. no matter what your parents do or don't do, YOU are a spectacular person! Don't ever let them get you down. It will destroy you if you let it. I don't know what your situation is, but when I was in your position the only thing that got me through was that somewhere, someday, someone would love me the way they never knew how. And it happened. I have a whole new family that loves me the way I deserve to be loved!
