For all you are and that you've been
Your kindness, your prayers and the warmth that you've shown
Your support for ozzie, my best friend.
The breeze blows through my hair and into my being and washes away the fear
I embrace the stars in the coolest of nights and feel only the warmth of your words
Ever so quietly starts a crumbling sound of the walls I've had up for years
And I whisper so softly to every one of you, "thank you for this", for allowing me to hope, that there is so much good still in the world
