I read all the time now, it helps me to take my mind off of everything else!!! My family doctor recommended it to me when I was first diagnosed and I find it extremely therapeutic. I have actually found that I've been drawn to books about depression and that reading about it has helped me understand more about my illness and also to identify with the characters I'm reading about. Here's a list of what I've read recently that I've really enjoyed:

- Prozac Nation, Elizabeth Wurtzel (GREAT read, autobiography)
- The Bell Jar, Sylvia Plath (FANTASTIC)
- Sarah's Key, Tatiana De Rosnay
- Girl Interupted, Susana Kaysen
- Push (Precious), Sapphire
- The Time Traveler's Wife, Audrey Niffenegger

Hopefully this gets you started. They've all kept me busy and thinking.

Good luck.
