i agree with you,your pdoc should take what you say into consideration, and she/he should screen
you instead of ignoring you

try going to another pdoc, a free one that knows more on ADD maybe that person would screen you and pass that information to your doc.
my doc didn't say much she just said i may have ADD but has said anything since, now she's asking me my feelings and what i do thats similar to bipolar
that pisses me off, but its mostly my fault for not saying my true feelings.
another thing is that you doc may think your being desperate. try to tell her/him what you think you should do even though they dont think so.
