Ok, then it does sound like I'll save a substantial amount of money to switch. I guess it's just time to go. It's sad, but maybe I need a new beginning. I've been with my psych nurse for two years! She's saved my life, we've been through a lot. But to be honest, we're stuck on a few things, so maybe a new perspective will help.
I'm thinking I'll see the psychiatrist maybe every 2-3 months, and see a therapist probably once or twice a month, while I'm stable. Of course more often if I go unstable.
I played with the numbers and it's still a pretty substantial savings, even with the two providers versus one, with my current psych nurse being out-of-network on insurance. She also charges quite a bit more per session than they do, that's why.
