Why did your doc add Celexa? Was there a specific symptom he was trying to control that Wellbutrin was not helping with? I think this is a very common meds combination. Wellbutrin can sometimes exacerbate anxiety, and Celexa is supposed to be helpful for anxiety, so if you were having anxiety, maybe you will see some improvement in that. I have heard it be far more common for someone to be on Celexa (or another SSRI) and have Wellbutrin added to that to combat some of the SSRI's side effects, such as sexual problems or the zombie-like effect (not feeling things). I haven't heard that many people who do it the opposite way, like you.

I have not been on this combination, but I am on Wellbutrin and find it very helpful for ADHD-like symptoms.

Celexa is supposed to be a weight-neutral anti-depressant.
