These are not the first dreams that have caused me physical pain. I once had a dream where I was shot in the shoulder and woke up with a sore shoulder. I had another dream where my eardrum ruptured and I imediately woke up with a massive spasm in my ear. However, those were one time occurances, unlike what has been happening lately. It's not uncommon for me to feel pain in my dreams, but it rare that the pain is extreme unogh to actually wake me. I am planning to see my doctor as soon as finals are over; I don't have the time right now.
