They have this curious linguistic ability yes, they were brought up
bi-lingually Gaelic/English so a lot of their sentences are pigeon english when speaking to each other. I get it straight away but then that is probably because I understand the abbreviation and intonations. All 'th' words are replaced with a D i.e. This - Dis, That - Dat, These - dese etc. etc, I guess its phoentic to a degree in Irish accented Engish. I think.
