Great program. Thank you Doc. I think its my host's server module (wild guess). Anyway, with pod_usequery=0 the search term shows appropriately within the Maxcom Amazon script ( Find books on: searched term at Amazon.com).

Downside : The "next" link at bottom of pod results page only returns you to the same point. ALSO, the "search only in..." subdirectory does not limit the search at all. The entire directory is still searched.

When pod_usequery=1 the "next" link at bottom of pod results page works.
Down Side : Find books on serachedterm&utf8=1 at Amazon.Com AND the "search only in..." subdirectory only limits the search to the parent directory no matter how many sublevels you are within the parent directory such as Business, Arts, Computers, ect...
