Yeah, this tends to be a common complaint with Geodon. It is definitely known to have a hangover effect the next day. It is an excellent medication but that sluggishness and being uncoordinated and clumsy and off-balance are really common side effects. I have been told that they do lessen over time so there is some hope. I would never try it because I work full time and can't wait for a month before the morning effects of the medication wear off. I don't know if it's possible for you, but maybe you could take the meds earlier in the night so less of the medication is available in your system in the morning? I don't know if that's realistic for you. It isn't for me which again reinforces my reasons for not trying it. If you're able to wait it out that's the best thing, but if you can't or are annoyed, talk to your pdoc about it. Take care and good luck.
