IMO, I think you attended to your thread just fine. You asked, then forewarned, waited for confirmation, received, then proceeded.

Your inclusion on all that you were saying was perfectly fine, (as were the replies and encouragements you received).
Please feel free to continue in the manner which you already were.

(I think Bebop was merely reminding us, that's all). I don't think she was necessarily focusing on what YOU were saying..just a general reminder.
