This is really directed at DocJohn but also to all of you.

I have been on this site since July or so, I think. I find the site so supportive and it adds so much value, insight, wisdom and tenderness to my life. I am grateful!

Now - I have an idea. I have been writing here alot over the last months, on different threads, mine and others', about my experience with my abusive ex. I get so many responses here from women who can identify with my situation, who can relate to how I feel, who have been in this situation, who still are in this situation and who need advice, offer encouragement and share ideas and support.

I think it will be useful to create either a forum for abused women (women survivors of abusive relationships, or who are or have been affected by abuse) (this can be a sub form in the 'Survivors of Abuse') or a group of some sort. I dont know if the group idea is possible but the idea is - that women who have experienced abuse form this group. Men who are supportive and relate to the issues I think should be welcome too. I think this can be a very powerful tool for women who need alot of the time to be reassured about their reality, educate themselves about abuse and share in strength and support.

Well - this is my thought. It stems from the fact that here and there women write to me about their past or present situation and I feel that offering one place for all of them (us) will be good.

So what do you think DocJohn and others? Is that possible?
