I’m sorry that you’re having a tough time with this. I’m feeling a bit guilty because when I do send my mother a card, my husband picks it out and I simply sign it and send it out.
I think mother/daughter relationships are difficult under the best of conditions. You’re not alone with your complex relationship. I think mothers really know how to push our buttons, they should, they installed them.
