I'm guessing you have a pretty big yard. Using a weedeater to cut it all is going to be really hard work. How tall is the grass? Its possible to cut it on the highest level for the lawn mower, then re-cut it in a few days to get it better. If I were close, I'd come help. Yard work is one of my favorite things.
