Thank you for posting and for reaching out here to many and for being there for your partner. Having that belief and support gives a way for hope to begin to grow and for allowing one's selves to find that trust that was destroyed or even never was. It is so hard when you feel so alone and feel as though it is all a secret. For so long it was just that, a secret, but it was our secret. In order to keep going we had to shut down to the world so no one would know for so many times no one understands or is willing to look and hear.

Your words are so kind and brought tears to my eyes. I know for me when I first came to PC, we were anything but believed other than by our t. The support was not there and we never risked allowing anyone to know we even exited. Trying to live as an I instead of a we was so hard. It felt like a lie and it in no way helped any of us. When we reached out here we were accepted and heard. Someone took a risk and reached out to us and we risked back for the first time. It has been worth the risk and all the fears we have.
