I do not understand it at all.
I was very annoyed when I developed the things--couldn't run, jump double dutch, and all the boys looked at me---so i wore my coat all through 5-high school indoors to hide my figure.
So I asked my mom: "What are they for, anyway?"
She replied matter of factly: "They are to feed babies with."
(She always stumped me with her answers--I just sighed)
If she were alive today, I'd ask her : "Okay ma, now I've breastfed two babies, and I want to know when they go away?"
She always said--"-less is more"," and leave something to the imagination".
I think it's vulgar. Probably why I enjoy old movies........blah blah
