I have researched the specific type of RAM in the past... and every place I read stated it HAD to be pairs..I do serious gaming on my XBOX... hence the 6.0 DSL. Never got big on games on my PC... but they may have been because I Couldnt. If I do gaming on my comp, its usually an old SNES emulator, or MAME.
