Filing a police report 'forces' an officer to physically come out and actually write out a report dictated by you. Excuse the sarcasm..but c'mon. Why can't they attend to their job like their supposed to?
How are they supposed to know what the dogs look like if they don't have a detailed description of them? (Not that they care...I know. Pitiful).

I agree Shangrala - seems like laziness and lack of concern. He tried to say they get numerous calls about stray, roaming dogs and I corrected him by saying, this wasn't a simple case of dogs roaming and minding their own business. You're right they should have at least filed a report in person. He claims they have a report on the computer.

I couldn't press further because I'm not the greatest at handling situations like this when I'm nervous. I explained to him, that I've taught my kids, you can depend on the police for help and they were anxiously waiting for them to come.
