Numbness is a known effect of clinical depression.

Sometimes people become overly emotional in their depression. That's not much fun either though

Numbness is feeling emotionally removed. Kind of adopting the, "Who cares?" perspective, which is a more dramatic automatic thought that depression brings up.

I'd recommend talking with your doctor. He or she will probably send you to a T, but the doc can decide if medicines would be worth a shot ~ and which might work well for you. ((Best wishes))
