I have a question...

Sometimes at night when I become overwhelmed with anxiety, I'll tell myself it's all in my head and I need to stop. So I'll say 'stop'. Then I'll keep saying it, but I think I can control whether or not I say it, but I'm not sure. For a few minutes or so I will keep saying "Stop, stop, stop, stop..." almost pleading with myself to stop the consistant thinking and thoughts. Is this considered OCD? Or OCDish? Or is it a good way to relieve anxiety?
