What if you knew he would get a job in two months and four days; what would you as a family do? I suspect that you would decide that while you might have to tighten your belts for a few months, you are going to make the most out of dad's time off and really enjoy each other and the extra time you have together - making the most out of a unplanned and unexpected vacation.

Your husband will get another job. It might be in a week, a month or even three months - but eventually he will get a job. How will you spend that time? You can fret continually to no end - or you can make the most out of it. I know that this is serious and you are feeling financially insecure...but you cannot change the fact that you are going through this - you can change how you look at it. It is an opportunity.
