I guess the answer would be "all of the above."
I just started therapy and he said that my depression would cause the concentration problems. Even though I don't have a formal diagnosis of ADD, it's just as frustrating. I can't concentrate, it frustrates me that I'm not being a productive worker, I get more depressed, less able to concentrate, etc., etc. My kids come home after being gone for almost 8 hours, and I've only managed to do 4 hours of work, so the remaining 4 have to be done while they're here, needing homework supervision, and dinner, and just time with mom.
You would think when the house is totally quiet, except for the cats, that I'd be able to concentrate, but the quiet just causes my head to go into overdrive regarding everything but work.
I'm waiting on a psychiatrist appointment for a medication evaluation, but I haven't been told when it is yet.
