I am actually pretty good.

Sanity I asked for the blunt YES or NO... and he said honestly he just didn't know...
I am actually okay with that answer... (head in the sand - I'm just taking it day by day).
The "deadline" was the wrong thing to do.. he is emotionally confused and I wanted an answer.... Like you said.. there is no deadline to be able to be mentally sorted out..

We are taking a step back from all of that and just being 'friends'.. no contact everyday and me not stresing all of the time.
