Thanks Perna - now that is something I can relate to a whole lot more. I usually do find myself so wrapped up in my own thoughts and mind, that I'll look at a person, hear they're talking to me, but not register a single word they said. I do sometimes think of myself as being "on another planet".

Any idea on what causes psychosis? Is it part of Bipolar too, to some extent? Or from extreme stress, causing you to "switch off"? Or exhaustion?
