I tried to stick my fingers in his mouth and do the baby mouth sweep, but it didn't work. I grabbed him and tried to do heimlich on him but it didn't seem to work either. I ran to the neighbor who is in a vet tech program in her high school and she came over. By the time we got there, my dog was OK and was excited to see her. My attempt at heimlich must have loosened whatever it was.
I shook and rocked back and forth for more than an hour and I keep reliving it in my mind. I don't want to go to bed because I will see it every time I close my eyes.
I think it triggered me because I am all jumpy and anxious now.
