I would imagine that dealing with what you are dealing with (daughter in det.) could really disturb your sleep.
I relate to life dramas doing that.
And i would imagine it being harder indeed to be there for anyone in a state like that, or being able to get up in the morning.
I do function much better when I am sleeping better or when I am relaxed, not agitated.
I don' t really have any answers for you, but I have tried a lot of things. Now I am trying to listen to relaxing music and consciously clear my mind of clutter around bedtime. It does help.
Try to relax and tell yourself, "I am okay *right now*."
I know it is hard.
