I couldnt take Abilify because of side effects so I don't know much about the weight issue. My weight problems was from me self-medicating with.....herbal remedies. Talk with your doctor about the weight issues. Weight is not just vanity as some people have a hard time grasping. It also brings on other potential health problems. Let your doctors know and I am sure they can get you on something else.

I'm personally on Lamictal and Geodon right now and have not noticed any weight issues. I actually dropped a few pounds over a month when I went to my Primary recently.
