If the meds are stabalizing your moods and keeping you out of the hospital, then talk to your medical doctor to find out if the weight you are gaining is significant enough to increase health risks. See a nutritionist to have your weight monitored and get nutritional and exercise advice. If your medical doctor thinks that the weight gain is significant enough to cause concerns with your health and following the nutritionist's advice does not help you lose some of the weight, then ask your pdoc to switch you to a new medication.
If the meds are
not stabalizing your moods, then ask your pdoc to switch your meds right away.
Just my opinion.
