For a while, it did 'scar' me, as it was my first time (if that counts). But I've accepted it. I don't know that I've moved on, since it still bothers me and I still have a VERY hard time being intimate with a man, but I've grown accustomed to the fact that it happened, and that I can't take it back. If I could take it back, however...as messed up as this may sound, I don't think I would. The event itself was awful, but the results? I wouldn't trade them for anything. Sobriety, not to mention how passionate I've become on the subject of rape, incest, and sexual assault, are like gold in this day and age.
