I'm taking an on-line pharmacology course that looks at psych meds and drugs of abuse, through my psych hospital. It's really hard but super interesting. As far as I know I'm the only consumer in the course, everyone else is in some way involved in addictions or mental health care.
Any way this week's assignment is dead simple for me. We have to describe a med, side effect and it's management. The assignment actually says to use a client as an example, but since my only client is me, I'm going with personal experience.
So I'm not sure which of my many meds or side effects it would be most fun to talk about. I'm trying to decide between the boring such as dizziness and nausea, to the more extreme such as sexual disfunction and lactation, then there's also increased photsensativity, and complete change in taste, or maybe I'll go for the good old hand tremors, since they're the most annoying.
