No, it's just the last 2 times I've seen her husband because she was double booked/out of town. He changed a few things and somehow in my mind I think that she's going to think that I took advantage of the situation to get my meds changed or something equaling stupid.

is your mother still critical?

Yes, Sunday I went out to dinner with her and ended up yelling at her in the restaurant. Mainly because she brings up my "disappointing" high school years...seriously....it's been 7 years....so I ended up yelling at her telling her that she can no longer bring up the high school conversation. Her response was that she was only using it as a reference because my cousin, who graduates this year, had a bas senior year (gee, maybe that's because BIPOLAR is partly a genetic disorder) but I cut her off telling her that I didn't care even if it was just a reference. Then she kept back peddling trying to dig herself out of the hole she was in, but I just kept yelling STOP! at her. Hopefully, she got the point this time, I think everyone else sitting by us in the restaurant did (and it was one of those nice restaurants that you have to dress appropriately to get in). I mean, I've done a lot since high school: graduated summa cum laude and was freaking #2 in my college class that had around 1,200 people...but why would you want to talk about that? Or the fact that I had a job before I graduated from college, unlike 80% of my fellow classmates.

Plus, I did get married and bought a house. But then again, her first reaction to the house we bought was "Why did you buy this house so close to low income apartments? You better make sure you lock your doors at night."
