I would take the threats seriously. I saw on the news yesterday a teen boy threatened to kill a thirteen year old girl. They were texting and her response to his threats were "you make me giggle". Three hours after the threats she was assaulted and is now in the hospital in critical condition on a ventilator.

I don't want to scare you unnecessarily but there is a time when fear is appropriate. I think this is one of those times. Don't panic but think carefully about how you can stay safe.

Your options are tell your parents, inform the police and provide emails as evidence and file assault charges, get a restraining order, talk to the school superintendent and ask that he consider suspending him or placed on home schooling, file a mental hygiene petition and ask that he have a psychiatric evaluation (also provide emails and name/phone number of your friend who is a witness to the threats), or do all of these. Also inform the superintendent/police/magistrate of the name of the school principal and what information you told her and her insufficient actions.

I would consider strongly the risk/benefit of attending school tomorrow. Please post what actions you take and the responses because I am very concerned about you.
