Effexor - It was really wierd. Since I've been on Effexor I absolutely despise red wine, chocolate,and chilis, all foods I previously loved. Now I have cravings for citrus and caramel flavours, which I was never crazy about before.

Shangrala, I second the comment that you should maybe talk to your Dr. about the side effects if you haven't already. 2 weeks isn't long enough for the benefits of an Anti-D to kick in, but that's a lot of side effects that appear to not be going away.

I'm on a lot of different meds, and I've had pretty nasty side effects with starting each one or whenever I increased the dose, but generally most side effects only lasted a few days for me, except some which are permanent but that I can live with.

I decided for the assignment to give them the complete psych patient's take on psych meds. So did a chart listing each med I'm on, it's side effects, and how I manage them.

Then I talked about the hand tremors as being the most annoying, and that I wasn't sure what caused it - whether it was a specific med, or the combination of meds.
