WOW - this is exactly what has been happening to me the last six months or so.... I keep getting a whooshing or white noise kind of sound when I lay my head down on a pillow and it drives me crazy when I am trying to sleep.

Thanks for giving me a word to go with my symptom - I will ask my doctor about it when I go in for my next follow up.
