It's been a long-standing policy to limit the time a member can delete or edit their own post. Deleting posts removes context once that post has been replied to, and makes following conversations by others challenging. It can also mean members can 'rewrite history' of a thread by changing what they originally said long after they said it. It has caused the community team significant difficulties in the past with some members abusing such functionality. Sorry.
