Hi Rissie.is.back. I've always tried to be as honest and open as possible with my psychiatrist. I try not to get too hung up on a diagnosis since so many of them overlap and symptoms that apply to one also seem to apply to others but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I think almost all of the meds that are prescribed can have adverse side effects but if you are in doubt I'm sure your psychiatrist would address any concerns you and your mom have.
