Erk! Don't apologize and don't feel stressed for saying what you said. You were not being rude! The word I made up just sounds a bit rude because of the way society has "programmed" our minds. I like it for this very reason - because it does sound a bit rude! But not as rude as "mf!" & the many even more inventive abusive words.
