THX. The positive is also that when I tried to go back to work last year I only lasted a few weeks and had a meltdown and had to resign - my old career is not for me now. But I had been engaged with the Uni for the 6 stressful months and completed the subject and passed. I think that is MASSIVE progress, even though I have withdrawn from the course for the moment. I don't really think my psychologist gets the full meaning of all that - and yes, especially when I was and am still coming back from Ground Zero. If I can't make her understand there's no use flogging a dead horse - in the end I have to be true to myelf and move on with this next phase of my life. I've spent years trying to get approval and validation from others and it's such a slippery slope with no strong foundations because if someone is having a bad day, or are off the mark in their comments, I can just be so hurt -too hurt - and it's my responsibility to manage that.
