I usually told my T my dreams. I dreamed once that I had my head in her lap and she was stroking it, that was a little awkward to relate :-) There was another dream that included a wall of toilet paper, I don't remember the whole thing now/the context but that dream got a lot of discussion; I was telling her things second-hand and she didn't like that, compared it to how I behaved in therapy and it was very helpful to us.
Since it's your dream, only you can say what the dream meant, the first thing that popped into my head was a "Judas kiss", I don't know what the surrounding dream was and what had happened that day but maybe you feel/felt like someone is playing you false and you'd be more likely to believe it if your therapist "told" you? My therapist often appeared in my dreams, or the "sense" of her, and I knew then that it was okay to explore that dream content (kind of lucid understanding) that though it might be scary, I would be okay because my therapist was there.
