My assertive male friend actually DID manage to contact him, by calling him at 11:30 p.m. and only telling his wife, who answered first, that he was calling about a guitar. Once he got him on the phone, my friend said he "put the fear of God into him!" Friend says he will contact him about a meeting place to get my money. We'll see if the guy actually shows up!
