Hi everyone. I'd sure appreciate some feedback about Facebook. I tried to expand my horizons by getting involved in a professional organization and went for an officer position, not thinking it through thoroughly and not knowing I would be REQUIRED to post myself on Facebook and Twitter appears to be optional. There is someone in my past I would rather stay lost to, obsessive and harmful ex-boyfriend, even moved out-of-state to evade. Though it has been years, I am nervous. I don't twitter or facebook for these reasons.

I just got the nomination and could respectfully withdraw. I don't know much about facebook to know how wise a decision it would be to go through with. I like the organization and what it stands for; I could participate in other ways. I knew I would have to be in the public but not this public. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
