My assertive male friend tracked the man down today, and got my money. He had arranged to meet him today, as the man said he would be home, and my friend called him twice with no one answering, so friend went to his house! The friend met me on my way home from work to give me the money he had collected from the jerk. That is the only way I would have gotten paid, for sure. I tried to pay my friend for doing this great service, but he wouldn't hear of it, so I plan to take him and his wife (my best friend) out to a nice dinner and also get him a gift certificate. This same male friend is also fixing my commode this week and won't let me pay him. If I had to call a plumber it would be over $100!

I just want to thank all of you who've helped me thru this! You just don't know how much your feedback and kind words of support have meant to me!
