No, it's not a woman thing....since I'm pretty sure I'm one too.
Here is the way I see it:
Think of it as this place being a community center. Ozzie made many wonderful donations to this center. In particular when she posted as a moderator, or admin, or any time she offered support to others - it was a donation, a gift. She also gave thoughtful tools for people to use in their recovery. She donated those words, those supports, those tools to the community. IMO, she does not own them.
The posts that perhaps she DOES own, IMO, would be the ones posted regarding her own personal issues. But when acting as a support, or a mod, or admin....those were donations to the community. Taking back ones donations just doesn't seem right to me. It's not like they could be used elsewhere....they were just destroyed. What a sad waste of a good heart, and of the special emotional energy it took to post so much here.
I do understand impulsive acts - I've had my fair share of those. I can only understand this if it was an impulsive "oopsie I should not ought to have dun that!" sort of act. If this was done with fore thought....then I'll never understand it.
