Hi folks,

We need a new volunteer chat coordinator. The chat coordinator is responsible for ensuring the weekly chats are held according to what's on the calendar. If a chat can't be held, the coordinator makes sure the membership is notified about the canceled chat. The coordinator also coordinates amongst volunteer chat leaders to ensure they are getting the support they need, holding chats as scheduled, etc.

We're also in immediate need of some new chat leaders, especially some to take over all of mlpHolmes' chats. Since they have not been around, we need folks to take over these topics (at any time that is convenient to the new chat leader). One person doesn't have to do them all, you can volunteer to take just one of them.

There's no special qualifications to be a chat leader, as long as you enjoy chat and can be in the chat room, once a week, at the time you specify. It's more of a reliability thing than anything else, although you are welcomed to suggest weekly topics and do other organizational things that you feel comfortable doing for the chat.
