I tend to do this a lot as well...it's a very odd and confusing feeling...It's hard to explain...I was awake once and saw some sort of entity...it was like a prism but I could see straight through it...it kept floating closer and closer...so I closed my eyes tightly because it started freaking me out...I opened them and it was gone...it wasn't shaped like a person or anything...it was just an oval shape...very strange and freaked me out...
