So, I kept my wedding dress, in the stupid thought that maybe my daughter might want it one day.

I was a size 20, over 200 pounds, 4 months pregnant, and 5'4" tall on my wedding day.

My daugher (who is only 4...) is a very petite kid, but where she does grow is in height.

What are the chances she'll even want it?

Not only that, but I couldn't afford to pay to have it "preserved" (really expensive) but only had it cleaned. So it could yellow over time, like in 20 years.

I was thinking of selling the dress along with all the stuff - the under petticoat thing, the veil, the corset-style bra I wore, even some stuff like the ring bearer pillow and crap like that. Throw it all in one package deal and see if the bride wants it all (if not, they don't have to take it all).

I bought my dress, alone, for $619.95 in 2005. The entire package deal, with veil, underthings, everything, came to over $900.

I've seen used dresses selling on craigslist and online for around $250-$300 online. I don't think I'll ship mine - I guesstimated shipping and it would be super expensive to ship. So I'll just try to sell locally - then they can try it on too.

Am I crazy to try and sell it? I have all the photos of it, do I really need the actual dress? It's just taking up space in our storage room. I'll never wear it again. I really don't think my daughter will ever want it, nor fit in it if she did. It would have to be altered way too much.
