Razorback......for me it was a long drawn out process. It was my first (and only, I hope) bout with mania, but it lasted months. Or maybe it was hypomania for months that kicked into major mania, complete with psychosis and delusions. A very scary place to be. Then, after hospitalization for mania, I crashed into severe depression, which didn't get a chance to last for months, as I made a very serious attempt to end my life.

Before all this I would have depressions of varying lengths and always sort of "situational" (depending on my situation). Nothing like my recent experience.
