I didn't mean to suggest that there was a baseline feeling of depression. More that there remains a vulnerability to the actual episodes. I have had many years with no more that the occasional "blah" day or two.

What you may find, even in the psychotherapy forum, are a lot of people who are still in the middle of an episode, with fewer people who are contributing here who are in the "recovered" phase.
